Ron Steven, better known as Rogest, is one of the most recognized painters in Marine Dot Art today. He has perfected a dotalistic style of painting, a true pioneer of modern day bright dot art. Thru his art, words and 
teachings, Rogest combines his passion for diving and the oceans, sharing its beauty and fragility. Rogest’s work has been in articles, portfolios and featured on the front covers of publications worldwide.
For the past decade, Rogest has made it his personal and business mission to educate and help save the environment one dot and one brushstroke at a time. Rogest has delivered a message of environmental awareness about the oceans we all love and enjoy. Rogest has been involved with and still is involved with many children programs, events and causes and has donated his art work and time to many environmental and charitable events and organizations around the world. . His artwork and motivational inspiration is truly making a difference.
Rogest has worked closely with DAN both in the USA and Australia and is an Inductee into the 2008 International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame.
“Dive Around the Clock” Charity Event” was founded in 2007 by Larry Trenda and Kyle Larson, Scuba Diving Instructor’s with TL Sea Diving, to raise money and awareness for Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center Cancer Research. “Dive Around the Clock” is a 24-hour dive-a-thon relay, where 2-person buddy teams are rotated every 30 minutes to ensure that there are divers in the water continuously for a 24 hour period.
The 1st event, in 2007, was a HUGE success. We had over 50 divers participate and we rose over $11,000 for Children’s Hospital Cancer Research. This year on July 25th and 26th, we will be holding our 2nd annual “Dive Around the Clock” Charity Event and are aiming for at least 120 participating divers and raising at least $20,000.
The enclosed print, donated by Rogest, is a limited edition print, for the 2008 “Dive Around the Clock” Charity Event and can be purchased for $25. With this donation, you will not only be getting a Rogest Print, but will be helping to support the efforts of Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center in their fight to beat childhood cancer. 100% of all proceeds from the selling of these prints go directly to Children’s Hospital Cancer Research.
